Back to Bonifacio High Street

Now, I am going back to our office, still with the traffic reasons of the taxi drivers, why can't they just turn that meter on and deal with the traffic, we're still paying them, right?

Okay, I just hailed a cab, whatever the look and state of it, this one looks like it just came out of a junk shop, but in fairness the driver is friendly, gave me a sweet "Hey sir! where are we going?!" greet. Then I said "Bonifacio High Street, Taguig?". He answered back with a smile and lots of---" Gusto ko yung lugar na yun, doon ka ba nagtatrabaho? Call Center?" (I like that place, Do you work there? Are you a call center agent?). I said yes, that I work there but not a call center agent, then the conversation goes on, and on, that it came to a very weird topic: homos and their sex life (his and his wife, and of the gays). Yeah, he was too chat-ty and told me that he was once asked by a passenger if they can *toot*, wt*! and that 19 to 23 year old girls are the once more aggresive, that we should pick girls like that; and the passenger before me was a 2nd year college girl wearing a skimpy skirt, and she was sexy and beautiful; and that there are lesser male and more gays. That was it, from the moment he said that, I want to go down, right anywhere, because he looks gay. I don't know where I am so I just settled with his sex stories.

Poor me, heard sex stories of a driver, with 4 kids all going to school and an ex-SM department store girl that he dated and came to be his wife. He looks really gay.

Next time I'll hear something like this I will definitely, ask him to stop polluting my precious mind.

Off To MetroWalk

It was raining and I need to be in a meeting. I went to Serendra to hail a cab, after 10million years I was refused by 10 taxis. All of them gave me the biggest shit reason of Ortigas being traffic. And so I end up with this weirdo taxi driver, who's the only one who didn't ask or whatever. He just took me and drive a little before he asking where we're going, in english! Yes, in english, well , I guess he thought I was a foreigner, yet again. Eight out of 10 drivers would mistake me for a foreigner. I just ignored him and answered the question, in Filipino--- "Sa Metrowalk po."--- but then he insisted --- "Where you going?"--- "Metrowalk, Ortigas po." I answered back. "Okay, do you like EDSA or C5?" --- "C5! just take the U turn." I politely said. "U turn then right." I thought he knew the way so I relaxed, but to find that I was nowhere going to C5, I panicked, wt* he drove me around McKinley---that was a long U turn huh! The meter then reads Php140.00, from my regular Php90.00 meter going there, it's a joke! He did the long wrong U turn for a reason.Plus, before reaching Metrowalk, (flyover in sight) "Sir? can we fly over?", was like omg! please don't (I thought he was suggesting flying over, shit, stupid.). "Oh, okay then." (After realizing he meant using the flyover)

R&E Taxi

It was the usual Friday night/ Saturday midnight (---what was usual was the night part) when I was dropped by our Finance Head, at this MRT pink colored fence in North Ave., Quenzon City. There I wait and wait for taxis to stop for me, but then ofcourse, known taxi drivers for awhile of being choosy when it comes with passengers from NLEX, so I also did some choosing apart from waiting, because I already know what would taxi drivers (not from the company operated ones) tell me---"Php300.00 (or Php500.00) sir!". It would only cost me Php200.00 all-in including the toll fee (to and from) if they would just take from the meter.

And so, I end up, hailing this taxi from R&E, yey! Ofcourse he did ask for extra, but yeah, it's nothing for me, as long as he takes me home, safe and sound, and no blah blah during the whole ride.
